Use in dogs, cats and rabbits
UNIFLOX MAX is an antibiotic of last generation as it is a quinolone group of fluoroquinolones with effects against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and against mycoplasma and chlamydia. Quinolones are usually bactericides, the sensitive microorganisms lose their viability within 20 minutes of exposure to optimal concentrations. Fluoroquinolones exhibit significant antibacterial activity at low concentrations.
INDICATIONS
Treatment of local and systemic especially against deep infections, respiratory, intestinal, urinary tract, ear and skin infections as well as prostatitis, meningoencephalitis, osteomyelitis and arthritis bacterial infections.
FORMULA | Each tablet contains:
Enrofloxacin …… 150 mg
Excp qs …………… 400 mg
DOSAGE
Dogs and cats: 1 tablet (150 mg) per 30 kg every 24 hours for 5 to 10 days according to the attending veterinarian.
Rabbits: 5 mg / kg orally every 24 hours grinding the tablets according to the attending veterinarian.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Avoid use in growing animals for prolonged treatments because it produces cartilaginous erosions.
