Therapeutic Action of the Product:

Sodium Hyaluronate is a natural component of connective tissue.
It is applied therapeutically only in places where it is a common component, specifically in the joint cavity.

Species:

Sports equines exclusively.

Indications of use:

For the treatment of joint dysfunctions due to non-infectious synovitis associated with osteoarthritis.

Posology:

2 ml. in small or medium joints (knot, carpus, etc.)
4 ml. in large joints (tarsi, femoris, warm, patellar)
The treatment can be repeated with weekly intervals up to three applications.

Form of Administration:

The product is for intra-articular application.

Collateral damage:

They have not been presented with this product applying and dosing according to indications.

Precautions:

Extreme aseptic conditions in the application since it is an intra-articular product. Do not apply if bubbles are observed in the solution. Avoid the use of local antiseptics such as chlorhexidine and quaternary ammonium salts, including benzalkonium chloride, as they can cause precipitation of sodium hyaluronate. It should not be administered intravenously. Do not apply to animals with a history and / or presence of liver dysfunction. It is advisable to leave the animal at rest during the day of application. Stop treatment if improvement in symptoms is observed after the third application.

Do not use in animals intended for human consumption

In septic joint processes.
