Inactivated/killed rabies virus (Pasteur Strain)
Description / Action:
CaniShot RV-F is an inactivated freeze-dried vaccine for the immunization of dogs against rabies. CaniShot RV-F is a core vaccine for dogs.

Indication / Uses:
CaniShot RV-F is indicated for
- Active immunization of healthy dogs against Rabies in dogs and cats,
- Prophylactic immunization & post-bite therapy
Dosage and administration:
1.0 ml (1 dose) S.C. or I.M. after reconstitution with enclosed diluents
Initial vaccination: 3-4 month or elder pets
Booster Vaccination: Annually
Overdoses / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:
Only healthy cats/dogs should be vaccinated. At the site of injection, a diffuse swelling may be observed after subcutaneous administration. Hypersensitivity reactions may occur.
Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions:
Store in refrigerator at 2-8°C. The cold chain should be maintained. Do not freeze. Protect from light.
Safety: Age / Pregnancy/ Withdrawal:
Safety in lactating female or pregnant female dogs is not warned by the manufacturer.
